You can drive to PALM Apartments using one of the following routes:
  • via Tripoli (280 km from Athens)
  • via Patra (345 km from Athens, 135 km from Patra)
There are daily train and bus connections from Zacharo to Athens and Patra. During the summer, the Araxos airport (about 90 km north of Zacharo) offers charter flights from Europe.
You can find anything you need, in only a small distance from PALM Apartments.
Zacharo has supermarkets, all kinds of stores, three banks with ATMs (National, Agricultural and Commercial), Post Office, pharmacies, Health Center, as well as several public services (Revenue office, police station).
There are many restaurants, taverns and pizzerias in the town, Kaiafa's forest and in most of the neighbouring villages.
You can also enjoy your coffee, drink or 'mezedes' (finger food for wine or ouzo) at Zacharo's center, in the area's many beaches or the open bar at the central beach.
In the summer, Zacharo hosts plays, exhibitions and concerts, while it's always a good idea to attend a fair in one of the nearby villages.
